The Dreamers Room is designed to feel safe, warm, and familiar featuring soft lighting, natural tones, and a peaceful atmosphere that supports emotional wellbeing.
Through consistent, caring relationships, our experienced educators build the trust and security every infant needs to grow with confidence
We follow each baby’s individual routine for feeding, sleep, and comfort, working closely with families to reflect what happens at home.
Consistency helps children feel secure and settled.
Our Educators get to know each baby deeply, responding to their cues and providing warm, attentive care. You’ll always be kept informed, so you feel confident and connected to your child’s day.
Nature-inspired play materials like wooden toys, soft fabrics, and leafy sensory spaces invite babies to explore with curiosity. These experiences build foundational brain and motor skills.
Our educators guide each moment with care, supporting discovery through warm, one-on-one interactions.
In the Dreamers Room, we understand the need to base the routine in the children's individual routines. For our youngest, we follow individual routines for feeding and sleeping and document their day so families can be on the same page.
As children approach 24 months, they transition toward more structure to support their move into the Adventurers room, with a day which looks like this:
All children begin the day in home grouping downstairs
The morning starts with play in our outdoor environment.
The Dreamers have their own protected play environment, and are supported and encouraged to play with older children.
Children gather for group songs and transition to a nutritious morning tea.
Play continues in our Nature-based outdoor learning environment, with a number of intentional experiences set up to engage children in play-based learning.
Children return to our indoor environment for lunch. Calming music is played to support children to rest. Children who are awake will have quiet activities to engage in.
Early afternoon activities include sensory, art and craft, and music. These nurturing activities build trusting relationships and reinforce connection to our environment.
We return to nature-based play for the afternoon, such as sand-pit digging, exploring our gardens, water play, or navigating balance beams.
The day's exciting activities come to a close with a shared meal and family grouping.
