At this age group, we establish an environment for children to develop their key self-help and emotional regulation skills and build confidence to meet their own needs and curiosities.
Group activities, such as circle time and collaborative projects, foster friendships and communication skills, helping toddlers build strong social foundations in a fun, engaging environment.
Our Toddlers room is equipped with rich and developmentally-appropriate learning resources.
Educators work in partnership with families to prepare learning experiences based on children's observed developmental stage and emerging interests.
In the Adventurers room, toddlers engage in nature-inspired activities, such as planting seeds or observing insects, fostering curiosity and creative thinking through hands-on discovery.
Our philosophy recognises that children are more grounded and centred when connected to the natural environment.
In the Adventurers Room, we have an established routine which supports children's sense of stability and trust. On this foundation, children are supported to build agency and independence. Predictable and gentle transitions empower children to practice self-direction and self-reliance.

Children return to our indoor environment for lunch. Calming music is played to support children to rest. Children who are awake will have quiet activities to engage in.
Early afternoon activities are setup based on children's interests and developmental goals.
We return to nature-based play for the afternoon, such as gross-motor challenges, sand-pit digging, water play, or investigating local bugs and birds.
