Our Approach
Our purpose is to develop curious and confident lifelong learners
Our purpose
Curious and confident lifelong learners
We are a family-operated and community-oriented service on a mission to support children to get the best start to life. Since 1995, we have been serving Lismore families for over 30 years.
Our nature-based approach, nestled within Nesbitt Park, connects children with the natural world every day. We believe that meaningful outdoor experiences, combined with intentional teaching and strong relationships, create the foundation for lifelong learning.

Our Five Pillars
Everything we do is guided by these five core pillars that shape our approach to early childhood education.
Learning Through Nature-Based Play
Children benefit from natural materials and loose parts with meaningful time in our expansive outdoor learning environment. Activities include exploring gardens, running on natural grass, caring for worms, and growing vegetables.
Experienced and Dedicated Educators
We prioritise continuity of care and strong, secure attachments with consistent caregivers. Our educators build deep relationships with each child and family.
Structured and Intentional Educational Programme
A balanced approach combining structure with play through literacy, mathematics concepts, documentation, and progress tracking. We ensure every child's learning journey is purposeful and meaningful.
Holistic Nutrition and Wellbeing
Fresh, nutritious, house-made meals using locally sourced ingredients. Children participate in family-style dining and garden activities, connecting them to the food they eat.
Safe and Hygienic Environments
Outdoor learning with fresh air and open spaces where educators guide children to recognise and evaluate appropriate challenges, building resilience and confidence.
